Well, medical weed is grown by professionals who study the process, so if you're not getting good shit, then medical weed is probably better.

im not really sure if there are standards to medical pot, but typically it is really high quality stuff. this is because it is grown in a much more controlled style than most illegal grow ops [careful mold, humidity, and temp. control], and they often use tiple A strains.

the med grade pot i had was fuicking amazing. it was organic, super potent, and cured perfectly.

it's not "more potent" neccesarily, but it is MUCH more pleasent smoking experience.

omg k yeah, i smoked it today, it was definately the strongest or second strongest most intense high ive ever had.
it was like, a bodily sensation u could say, the high kinda 'moved' from each part of my body to the next.
my throat was BURNING for like, 15 minutes or so
it was insaaaane
but during the throat burning part it also felt like it was bleeding, and as if i swallowed thumb tacks. so yaeh, that was the only neggative aspect of the high.
man i loved it tho

anyone know of any really smooth strains that give a relaxing, smooth high rather than an intense throat killing one?

one of my friend use to work for this women in her 40's that had some physical problems so she had medical weed, she used to sell him some dimes and 1/4 and it was the bomb

the buzz was perfect to relax and watch some tv

but not the kind of green u use to get pumped up

im out here in california n we got the medical clubs so you know i have tried many strains of different medical marijuana an to say its not the best weed i ever smoked. i got some of this shit from my deal that was top notch shit. how ever soon as i hit that age n i can get my script ill be tryin every strain of medical marijuana

i was under the impression that generally heavy indica based ganj is used mostly for pain relief, wouldn't say medi-users weed is stronger, but its different to sat's which are way more common, at least in these parts, cos indicas are more of a body bosh, cant-be-arsed-stoned than the chatty-giggles-munchies type high you get from sativa's. most med-users grow their own too ive noticed... just an observation not sure entirely why beyond speculation.

80% of the time a dealer sells you "med" shit its just normal weed with an excuse to be $10/gram. when they actually sell you med weed, most of the time it will be from compassion clubs, in which case it will be good weed. if its health canada weed, it will be total shit. I got toronto compasion club weed one time and it was fuckin bomb!
