yea im in ontario and cops still arent always cool with weed. Ive never been busted yet but they usuaully give us a hard time.

Lemme explain the situation in holland, since there are a few responses that are slightly incorrect.

In all of the Netherlands, you are allowed to smoke. Light up anywhere anytime you want. IF you are over 18 years old. (adult)

You are able to BUY weed at a coffeeshop. Those are legal kind of pubs where they sell various strains. You have to be 18+ and can only buy up to 5grams a day. (but there are countless shops so if you need more, it just requires a little traveling)

You are also able to grow your own weed. Up to 5 plants. Have more in possesion and you're fucked, same for dealing on the street. Dealing is ilegal.

Weed/Smoking is decriminalized in holland, which means its socially accepted, and also by law. But under the rules of reduction of possession.

end of story, happy smoking

and amsterdam is a bad choice, prices are higher there 'cause every single person that's not from holland/belgium thinks Amsterdam is the place to be when talking about pot.

It's a tourist attraction, prices are upped there 'cause you tourists come there just to buy 'omfg 'dam weed!'

rotterdam,roosendaal,tilburg .... ANYWHERE except for Amsterdam would be a good place to retire.

Personally i'm moving to BC in Canada when my retirement comes close

nobody cares about smoking on the streets, but the law says ony in the shops and at your home. and its up to 4 i though, and under lights its illegal

oh and there's this hippie-community in denmark where its legal too.....

i live in ontario and i think the laws are so lack here cause the police usually dont give a shit as long as you dont have excess amounts. i got charged with an oz (but got off) all the other times ive had a spliff that was maybe around 3-4g and the cops just take it (wonder why?) or crush/rip it up

Also what the hell is everyone telling who should buy what and what such and guns and etc. I dont have ANY respect for somebody who carries a gun, I am not scared of somebody who has a gun either or wishes to shoot me. Ive had a loaded chamber pointed at my face and i still said fuck off. If they shoot you, in theory you wouldnt know about it, especially in the face. 2, you will die but they will have it on their concience for their whole life, id rather die quick than slowly die in my mind for the rest of my life.

Your on a forum, act like civilised people, even if your not atleast try because just because you may be considered as a dick in reality least people will apprechiate your input in internet conversations and maybe in yourself you will think your smart and that COULD reflect on your real life.

Well people, As i understand Amsterdam is legal, but with restrictions as with all laws and eastern countries, not specific on their names but mainly the middle east. India i do believe and Africa (southern), in some parts.

Also in Jamaica, not regarded as Legal but they tend to let the Rastafarian Gatherings (Nyabinghi mainly) Consume the holy herb freely. Without the interference of Babylon scum.

I used to have the title as Rasta but in time i cannot call myself that because if so, i would bring shame to the livity and religion. Its belief, Rasta cannot consume Babylon drugs, its just bad. Holy herb and natural substances are permitted due to they are the creations of Jah (God).

Yes Bear was a rastafarian but still contains the very same beliefs

And Donald: Cannabis is not decreminalized down here, you can still get thrown in jail for it, though the law isn't that tough about it (at least hey have the common sense to realize weed isn't as bad as coke).

Also no it doesnt have any difference if you live in a village or a city or whatever. You can live in a bad area and still become a success! Just because you come from the 'ghetto' doesnt make you some illiterate hood rat who can only steal and not learn jack all about life and how to progress, get a good job, get a wife and kids and make sure their safe instead of involving them in your dealings and guns and etc. If you are truly involved in guncrime think again, you may one day have it all, wife and children and then when you thought youve pulled away somebody wishes to settle an old score for killing their friend or a family member and shoot you too... Whatever you do in this life will bite you back in the ass later. That is a rule of thumb n nobody gets away with taking somebody elses life, it comes from you mentally or even a jail cell... but those who think they are fortunate in getting away with taking a life... remember your own mind can be a jail cell that will hold you alot tighter than any jail cell you will ever have in this world.

On a more positive not, not wanting to waste my time on this subject because it does truly upset me in many cases.

As yes i understand the laws are slacky on marijuana in your parts Flow, neer holand and that acceptance for marijuana tends to create a ripple effect but that ripple stops shamefully at the border to the united kingdom

Al capone, he was one of the best gangsters of them all. Very clever indeed, using the alcohol prohibition to give him a new product and he killed every little competition and made millions a day.

Doesnt matter what the product is, if its illegal some people want it and there you have a business.

In the Al capone film i just somehow laughed when the little girl with the brief case blew up, it was upredictable and just... well im fucked up for laughing actually lol People like scarface (fictional), they are the ones that have rose to the top and own everything.
