iran shouldnt be for it because of this ''nuclear enrichment'' bullshit. iran has every right to nuclear facilities as the US does.

We're not going to war with them for that. U.S. Forces have found weapons the Sunni and Shiite death squads made from Iran. The C.I.A. has enough proof that links it to Iran. It even says "Made in Iran" with 2006 tags on it.

I believe we have 4 carriers within striking range of their coast. Basically, we have air and sea superiority over them. We may send ground troops as the "clean up".

yes, but if the americans are after the death squads, then they are going to have scarpered to the hills before you get chance to blow the fuck out of them. and then you'll be fighting a guerilla war with troops probarbly unfamilliar with middle eastern guerilla fighter tactics. the afghans managed to kick the soviets ass, what makes you think you can kick theirs? plus they likely have the backing of the government, and the official government army, and even possible nuclear armament.

Are you kidding? America is a world superpower. Iran is basically a terrorist state. Islamofascist wackjobs. Under no circumstances should they be allowed nuclear armament.

freedom fighter in this instance is used loosely, with no basis on freedom intended. i used it as a way of trying to show the 2 different sides to the debate, the americans, who believe iran is evil. and iran, who believs the americans are evil. sorry if some of my posts seem irrational and unfounded, i havent slept in quite a while,and am quite exhausted.

It's OK.

I just think the Americans were just dicking around in Iran and Afgahnistan. Iran has the capacity to get nukes and America sees this as a very real threat to them. This time they're fully serious about getting in, merking the Iranians, and getting out ASAP, unlike Iraq where they had nothing to lose, easy peasy, this is different. They're in for a fight and they know they have to win or they're fucked.
