I live in the ONLY PLACE in the united kingdom where it hasnt snowed once. Not a speck of snow i have seen. Yeah, sure, its below freezing as i sit here typing. Ohh well, its supposed to be heavy snow across western england and wales, then melting for a bit in the middle, then freezing and snowing again on the east side. What is a guy to do?

its hella fun with a tin full of jays going to the light and ice sculpting festivals...pure awesomeness.
During Winterlude, skaters take a spin on the Rideau Canal, which runs through the city, and some skate to work. Lights don the canal at night and illuminate ice sculptures.
two of MANY sweet ice sculptures

Well I live in Canada about 6 hours north of the border and a month ago we got something like a foot of snow in 10 hours? The whole city shut down for 24 hours, we havn't shut down for over 20 years it was epic. theres already over a metre (more than 3 ft) in my front yard of the white stuff. it's a lot of fun to not only having to shovel the drive way but digging out out your car to get to school in morning with it being -25 to -40 C. it's awesome. makin a killa quinzie though, one day...
ps i hate snow, i want it to be warm...

Lol,i was mocking what the news made it out to be. Slightly inclement weather and the country grinds to a standstill. But on a brighter note, the water in my bucket froze over, so ive got a nice place to chill my limoncella and milk.President Beavis wrote:Dakine wrote:Theres a serious weather warning for about 2 cm of snow.try about 2 feet up in my area.
