Just Found Out I'm Moving to the UK
My Dad's a Banker and works with the International side of it. He just got word he's being transferred to England (London to be exact) for a few years. My younger brother is transferring to a school over there and I'm going to w/draw from university & stay over there till I go to Japan in May just to help them get adjusted and stuff. I've heard the UK is NOTHING like the USA @ all. It seems interesting enough tho and I've always wanted to go to England. I've been told I have a pretty good English accent too, LOL. One time i fooled an English person that was in my Philosophy class--he thought i was actually from there, lmao. Anyway, whats the UK like? What should I expect? Any other advice/tips/info would be greatly appreciated!

It's sweet, when you get here check out Camden market. Full of the friendliest freaks you'll ever meet and you can buy pretty much anything there. Plus theres the lock (canal) where you can always chill out and blaze. Just gotta be careful with people pushing others in. But yeah, go camden, good stuff
Try some wrong

well.... you can expect lots of rain, thats for sure, ifits one thing the uk got, its rain.
on a more positive note, camden is cool, i only been to london once sadly, so i only been to camden once, but it is great there like, i wish i had longer to look around that place...
other than that, no idea, go to wales for a bit (my country) haha, nice scenary (in most places) and language which is as amusin as it is confusing to listen to (often refered to sounding like someone clearing their throat) it is an odd language... i would so love to have the capacity to learn it... along with japanese, among others, haha
anyway, i go way off course here, n in doin so forgot what i was saying... oh yes... Rain.... its everywhere, hope you like rain, haha

deffinatly... the weed smokers mecca, im off there next wedensday. doesnt cost much if you book your flight in advance. i dont know if you guys have heard of this but theres a place in demark copenhagen called christiana went there a few years back and i was amazed it actually beat the arse off amsterdam and it isnt even legal. they have like a whole market dedicated to ganja with stalls with all different veriaties of weeds and hashes displayed on the stalls unlike amsterdam where you just get menus to choose fromDr. Greenthumb wrote:I'd recomend planning a trip to amsterdam while you're over there.
