Anyone been/living in Japan?

Hey guys, I just found out I'll be going to Japan for 1.5 years (Tokyo) for an exchange. I'll be at some University in Tokyo doing language study. Anyone live in Japan or ever been there? I've heard there's hardly any weed there and the Japanese authorities are really strict about it....which means i'll have to go 1.5 years w/out smoking. Crap.

When I was living in Saipan I went to Japan on vacation numerous times, once to Kyoto, and twice to Yokohama. There's no weed there, but there are many other things some may consider better. For the equivilent of one american dollar you can get mickeys (14 ounces) of virtually any type of alcohol. In the rural areas you can get psylocibin mushrooms in stores for dirt cheap as well. The ladies are wonderful and gracefull, and the food is to-fucking-die for, so not having mary jane along for the exchange shouldn't be such a big deal. Good luck, and spank some naughty schoolgirls for me while you're there...

I always thought that It'd be wicked to go to Japan for awhile. Or at least I'd rather go to see Japan then most other countries. Except I'm inept when it comes to learning new languages.
