First day of sobriety...

Yep, complete sobriety. Gotta do it for 3 months and 3 days until 4/20. Gonna be tough. Doin it to prove to myself I don't need weed or alcohol, and I'm taking 18 credits/hours of class a week. So, Wish me luck! I'll still be on the boards all the time. I might drink once in a while, it's more \of a weed thing than an alcohol thing, cause I've never really had a problem with abusing alcohol...but I was smoking way too much weed. Anyway, you all get the picture. Peace

I once did it for 5 months. It's like your a complete virgin when you come back, you get messed up sooo easily, it's awesome!

Ahhh, you can dooo eeet Gene!! Just be careful you don't start using alcohol as a weed substitute. I don't think you would but I'm just doin' my fatherly instinct thing...lol.

3+ months. Wow. You are going to be so annihilated on 4/20! You'll have to get some pictures that night to see for yourself how baked you'll be after that long of a break.

yeah i went for a year without weed in 2003 when i lived in the states... but good luck with that... the first toke back will be wonderful

I don't know if it was because it was the first time in a long time I did it, but I went to sleep sober last night and all I did was toss and turn, and at one point woke up drenched in sweat. Now, I did end shit with a girl yesterday, mighta been because of that, might have been becuase it was the first time sober, coulda been a combo of both. But either way, it sucked! So, cheers to the beginning of day 2

I really like this quote, after you smoke weed everyday and large amounts it feels like without weed you arn't normal without it. Well I currently lost my job so I'm sobering up so I can pass a drug test to get another job. Its been about 12 days going on 13, once you hit the double digits theres nothing to it. The great thing about weed is that it truly is non-addicting and you can stop cold turkey without withdrawls. You might want a hit or want to smoke but your body isn't addicted so you know youll be fine without it.
