Congradulations, Now can you ban all those damn spammers

The past 2 weeks have been the most amount of spammer I've seen since I got here. Theres at least a new spam every time I log back on to WG.

the mods are chosen on what they can bring to the forums in a moderator role, NOT on how many posts they have made.

Chris has the dedication to give his own time to the boring tasks of eradicating spammers and trying to assert a decent presence for the site. I truly believe he can be a valued asset for the site.
i wish him good luck and greatly look forward to working side by side with the latest addition to the mod team with the shared mission of improving the weedguru experience...

I do not need convincing that the main site needs vast improvements. I am fully aware of that job but lack the coding knowledge, personally, to do anything about it. Simple as it may seem to anyone with basic html knowledge, to me it is next to impossible to fuck about with the code and get the front end updated to a respectable level.

hopefully I can get something done on that front this year...
