Name the best firewall?

I was using kaspersky, but those officious bastards have managed to blacklist the licence keys which are connected to the kaspersky versions I use. SO I have for now reverted to using Zone Alarm Pro but that is proving way too intrusive to me normal usage of the laptop and internet...So what is your preferred choice for 'best firewall'? And is the windows firewall reliable enough for internet usage???

McAfee is a very good firewall... the virus protection on the other hand is terrible, (and expensive i believe, i wudnt kno, i stopped using it for virus) a good followup would be Nod32, as the virus scanner, is a very good, self-updating free virus program, double that with McAfee virus protection, n u shud b nice n safe

If you use Blueyonder as your ISP they have this thing called PC Gaurd thats a free download and self updateing that's particularly good. Other than that i use to use McAfee but I remember it fucking up alot. I'd like to help more but PC gaurd is rather handy and i'm far too lazy to look for a new one.

Zonealarm hasn't bothered me before. maybe you should downgrade your settings a bit.

i was using sygate for a while, but then got rid of it and just started using the windows one... so far its all been good... touch wood

virus scanning im using AVG Pro and thats all good too

I haven't used a virus protection for 3 years, and I still haven't gotten a single virus on my computer.

I guess virus's fear my Dell computer. I've used Limewire Pro, torrents for downloading...LOTS of internet porn, lots of illegal programs, free keygens and hacking tools.

I'm the only person who never gets virus's, but I would recommend using mcafee or avg pro. Those are usually the most reliable for my friends and for me when I have to check if I have a virus.

thanks for the tips people. I finally settled on Panda Titanium 2007. Which seems to be keeping me secure.
