On my harvest i got like a half ounce cause i took it at the earliest timeframe of Harvest.Since this being my first how do i get the buds to look like the buds that the dealers sell cause mine have different colored hairs on it and theres like white crystals through out the plant is this normal??? Also i used Miracle Grow and i got good results i dont have a camera so i cant take pictures so i was just wondering ur guys oppinnions if i should smoke it and see what the outcome may be because i let it dry like a day or 2 longer then suppose to and i fed them water almost everyday and it had a sturdy stalk im just curious if this is all normal and if the buds are suppose to have small leaves on the buds that u trim and/or how do you make the buds compact n all that well any help would be greatly appreciated!

White crystals are a sign of high THC content! You shouldve waited to harvest though. You wouldve had a lot more weed.

When you dry the buds up they will close together and be more compact.

We smoked some of it to try it out it....my cousin caught a good guy n for some reason it aint got a harsh smoke to it and I tried miracle gro for this plant as it was my first ever planted...but it seems like the buds are real brittle and aint got much mass to them is there something i might did wrong or do they just gotta dry longer?

Ideally, the buds, when ready to be smoked should be slightly resinous and sticky. And you shouldnt have to pull really hard to break apart. It just sort of comes off.

to make your buds taste better and look better you need to "cure" them
what you do is...-
you need a air tight jar....drop your buds in it when they are dry and place the lid on it......and every day you need to open the jar for about 10 mins and let the old air out and fresh air in....you do this for 2 - 3 weeks...this will improve the taste and the look of your ganja
the longer you do this the better the taste

and to be honest if i got less than 1 1/2 oz from a plant...thats not a good grow
if your gonna grow weed DONT chop it early,1/2 an oz from a plant is shit bud and not even worth smoking,myself i would just make hash or oil from it....give your weed the full life circle it deserves otherwise dont bother growing it.......and the white crystals is THC .....thats the stuff your getting stoned from dude.

It was my first plant and i was happy n proud that i could actually grow one so i harvested it early because it didnt seem like it was growing any more buds on it. Peace

remember out door plants take a hell of alot longer to finish than indoor grows
