1. Taste is purely a matter of personal preference.
2. Weed smoke can be harsher then tobacco smoke, so mixing some in there can help. Not everyone is a smoking machine so there are some who do choke.
3. Tobacco does add a nice effect to your high. Some people, even non-smokers will smoke a cigarette for "aftertoke" around here.
4. Tobacco is far cheaper to the gram then pot. 2 cigarettes is about a gram of tobacco so lets say you get a pack of 25 for $4 (that's how much I pay). Divide that $4 by 12.5 to get the value of those 2 cigarettes and you've got about 30 cents. A dimebag is 10$, not everyone can afford to just use more weed.
5. Of course a joint with only pure doesn't burn horribly, but with tobacco it'll burn even more nicely.
And numero six: Whether someone rolls with tobacco or not is up to them, shutup.
I never roll with tobacco, mainly because I don't like tobacco and don't buy any. I've seen guys who do roll with it though and the part about helping it burn more evenly is definitely true. Even though the jay lasted longer I'll just stick to my herb, thanks.
i smoke with tobacco, its makes my bud last longer, and burn strait. alot of ppl dont like this but hey sup to you. ima reg cig smoker, so it doesnt bother me .

But I'm not the type to preach, and I understand it's killing 2 birds with 1 stone if you are a tobacco smoker anyways, so do whatever you want. I'm not here to bash anyone's preferences.

Blunt wraps last forever, and I don't mind smokin a blunt compared to smokin somethin with half weed, half tobacco - less nicotine and far less chance of aquirin an addiction. But in terms of spliffs, I always roll them pure. Gets me higher anyway.
Im my case .. whell i mainly use tobacco too .. its not that i really love it .. but whell money can allways bea problem when u need 2 finance all the things in life .. sometimes i get the moncies and i spend loads .. on cookies : and Beer but you know ... one main thing why i put tobacco in a j is that it actually lasts longer and whell thats basicly it .. i have about 5 people around me and if i would put only weed in it it would go wayy too fast... we we want 2 chill and now wory that the joint is gona get smoked .. cuz its constantly burning .. the only solution to this problem is a bong .. or a pipe ... youst add weed and light when u want it .. : )

i basically barely use tobacco cuz i dont smoke cigs and none of my friends do so we dont need it
i find smoking with tobacco does make me higher then smoking pure weed however in part due to the headrush tobbacco gives me
if u have rele sticky/wet weed than using tobacco will make it burn easier
