pink floyd

Post by puffpuffpass »

Ever turn it up real loud or listen on head phones and try to catch what is being said in the backround or what is somewhat hidden?

In the beginning of "wish you were here I hear what sounds like a bong bubbling then a man cough a few times.

other hidden stuff:
"Empty spaces"
If part of this song is played backwards, you can hear this: "Congratulations. You have just discovered the secret message. Send your answer to Old Pink, care of The Funny Farm, Chalford, UK." Pink was the main character in Pink Floyd's film The Wall.

"In The Flesh"
At the very start of Pink Floyd's The Wall album a voice (Roger again?) says 'we came in'. At the very end the same voice states 'Isn't this where'.

But could it be a grand joke
A puff of smoke
Yes it's but a great day
To know the way
Don't you see the huge clouds go flying by
Don't you know
Deep down we all are butterflies

I noticed on Vera, track 17, that the dialogue on the beginning of the track is from the movie 'the battle of britain', and is a dogfight between the luftwaffe and the RAF

Floyd high is absolutly wonderful. Floyd trippin might be the best thing ever. Their musicianship is outstanding.
