What psychiatric conditions warrant medicinal marijuana?

Was wondering about this. Does anyone know?

Or does anyone know of a website that lists the psychiatric conditions that medicinal marijuana can be prescribed to treat?

I've learned that smoking out one night will cut my anxiety issues for the whole next day. I'd rather just legally smoke pot each night then be on the medications a psychiatrist has prescribed. The way they make me feel is unsettling.

I got a card from a friend of a place where I can get a consultation, and possibly a prescription.

But I wanted to do my research before hand...

They don't prescribe marijuana for anxiety. It's used more as a painkiller and apetite enhancer.

Medicinal marijuana is mostly used to treat nerve pain and is used as an anti-sickness drug rather than to treat any psychological disorders. Mostly due to the lack of concrete research into the effects weed has on your psyche.
