Of course i read books, but i have this horrible habit of reading about halfway through a book in one night and then forgetting i was even readin it, and then it ends up back on the shelf. I have a lot of half read books.

Sounds like a good idea to me. If it's not entertaining enough to make you remember what you were reading then it's probably not worth finishing.

I read...I need to go to the library again :X I just finished The Many Lives & Secret Sorrows of Josephine Bonaparte....I'm about to read Beowulf now...I've read parts of it in English Lit but not the whole thing so I picked that and the Canterbury Tales up so those are my next two goals :D Although I did grab a book called uh... " Elvis, Jesus and Coca-Cola " by Kinky Friedman....a jewish country singer turned detective? I couldn't help but grab it, though I don't know if I'll ever read it..haha...

I don't read books. I know I should, and that it'd be good for my vocab (which im seriously lacking), but I just don't want to. I'd rather watch a movie, than read a book. The books I had to read (for school) were all very enjoyable, but I still don't really like reading a book.

I don't enjoy reading, probably cause I'm forced to read Shakespeare and all that stuff for school... I used to read all the time, but now I'm very big on movies

I read stuff for school mostly, but when a book peaks my interest (mostly about government and society and disutopias), I will read it, just to learn about the concepts and stuff.

Hardly anybody reads. Makes you wonder why it's so important to be literate. haha jk.

When I was younger, I used to read this hockey book series called "Screech Owls". Since then however, I never really even touched a book. Until the other day when I blazed a spliff and decided to read a book that I had to read for english class. It was surprisingly pretty interesting and I think I might actually finish the whole thing before it's due! ... for once.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

I read anything thatll expand my knowledge, i dont really read for entertainment though reading the books I do is quite entertaining.

William H Prescott - the conquest of mexico

machiavelli - the prince (this is the reason why i can get anything i want either free or for a great discount)

stephan hawking - a brief history of time (such a difficult read, i'll have to try it again when im a bit older)

etc...

I read in spurts. Last summer I read 4 books in the month of July but I haven't picked up a book since then. I've got the last two books in the Dark Tower series by S.K. on my shelf and I vow to read them both someday soon.
