Correct me if im wrong, but i believe that you can carry up to an ounce on your person without a care in Denver now. i wanna take a road trip out there sometime son with a few buds and pick up some buds and chill with buds and buds

up here in Canada there was legislation to "decriminilize it". Which you would receive a small ass fine if you had under an ounce on ya. But that bill sank when the Conservatives came into power. But meh, its practically legal here, I live in Ottawa, and me and my gf smoke the cheeb in a nice park right in front of the US embassy and beside the canal here. haa..good times

But im sure you guys are well aware of BC Bud. Out there, cops dont give a shit at all. The whole mentality here in Canada for law enforcement is..Theres bigger fish to fry.

im from canada...we pretty much smoke outside anywhere..one time after work we were on the side of a main road.. there was a feild and we were smoking it when the cops pulled up..man...it was scary..the cops asked if we were smoking weed and everyone but me denied it. i didnt want to lie since it was jus a joint..they also said next time go smoke where people cant see you and shit.its weird how this stuff happens only when ur high.

Similar thing happened to me in a park here near my house. I was rolling a j with a couple budds of mine when they told me a cop was approaching us with a flashlight. I had my back turned to him and didn't want to make a scene so I just remained that way. I took the notebook that I was rolling on and placed it under my ass justtt before he got there. The cop then arrived and asked us what we were up to. Just as that happened, I looked at my hand and realized that I still had these mini scissors in my hand that I was using to cut up the weed. Not only were they in my hand, they were open and still in a cutting position. Anyway, the cop asked us if we had any boos on us and we say no. Then he asked me why I had scissors in my hand like that and my clever self answered "I don't know" . He didn't seem to know what they were for and only told me not to scratch up any tables. Finally, he asked all three of us to stand up and I'm like ugh he's got us. However, somehow I managed to stand up with the notebook stuck to my ass and he didn't even see it. Prior to this, my friend decided to hide his bag behind a tree because he had over 2 ounces on him and wanted to be prepared for a situation like this. As the cop is walking away, he sees the bag behing a tree and asks us if it's ours. My friend uses our favorite response and says "I don't know". My friend then walks to the bag and acknowledges that it's his. Once again the cop simply asks if there are any boos in the bag and we truthfully say that there aren't. It was an interesting situation that could have gone VERY wrong at least three times. I don't know if the cop was completely clueless or if he didn't care but in the end nothing happened.

With that being said, although some people may not care, it still isn't legalized. I wishhhh it was. I didn't know it was legalized in Alaska though, that's interesting.
