If they confinscate your bud they will take it and send you a letter saying a package addressed to whosever name it was had illegal contraband in it.

Try sending it back in a package full of clothes or just send it back and take you luck!

The best possible way I've ever known is vacuum sealing bags. They are cheap and really useful. You can make a pound get to a deck of cards size and when it opens...it poofs back to normal. Pretty sweet in my opinion. And you could always stuff the vacuum sealed bags in a cereal box.

A friend of mine took a plane from ottawa to nova scotia and she had 3.5 grams of weed on her. It wasn't the smelliest shit on the planet but you could still smell it through the plastic wrap it was in. She made it there fine AND returned with it fine. From what I've heard, drug dogs at airports are usually sniffing for stronger drugs only, like heroin, coke, meth, etc.

I've heard that mail is usually somewhat trickier to send drugs through, although I don't have any stories about anyone getting caught, or even sending it through safely.

Sending through the mail COULD be a gamble, but I find people taking weed into airports rarely ever get caught. I might just be not tuned in well enough to what's going on with airports these days..

How does a dog distinguish what drug it is going to pick out? I mean wouldn't a drug dog get scent on any drug regardless of what it is?

No.

It's weird how the system works. Even though weed is an illegal drug in north america, there are drug dogs trained only to sniff out the more hardcore drugs. Some places feel that people will attempt to bring weed onto plains and into schools and into churches, and wherever else, regardless of what they're told because it's a fact that weed isn't that dangerous of a drug(if dangerous at all). The 'authorities' just kind of figure the majority of the people just think "Ah what the fuck, it's just a little bit of weed, I don't give a shit!" I'm not too good at explaining things so if you don't understand it still, I give-up. Maybe someone else can explain.

As for your dog question, drug dogs aren't trained to search for every drug on the "blackmarket". They are only taught to search for the drugs they are meant to search for on that specific day/assignment.
