Anyone here freestyle?

Just wondering if anyone here does. It's something i've never been able to do though.

Is there a way of getting into it? Or something that helps? Also do you flow better stoned or not?

I can freestyled when I'm high in my head, but I can't rap because I run out of breathe too easily or just end up fucking up my words.

Yea, I freestyle. The only thing that really gets you good at it is practice. At first your lyrics are gonna suck and you're not gonna be able to hold a flow for more than like 4 bars maybe..but practice practice practice every day and you'll get better. Once you think you're good enough go out and look for ciphers and competitions around your town, there usually is some pretty hefty prize money, plus it's good experience to go up against someone else, in public to boot. Also if you sit down and actually write a song to a beat once in awhile, it will make you that much better at going off the top of your head.

Let me fix this... I can rap, when I'm not high, but after smoking I just get a really low voice and it's harder to speak without fucking up my words. When I'm sober, I can rap, but I can't freestyle because I'm generally not that type of artistic person.

I think I'm going to attempt to write a song while I'm high this week and attempt to rap it after I sober up. I'll use fruit loops to create some sick beats and maybe we can have a little competition or some shit.

i freestyle sometimes. when i get high its kinda hard though cause ill be thinkin about what im gunna say then all the sudden forget what i was talkin about.

i can mc over a drum and bass beat for a few bars, sounds shit though, i wouldnt pick up a mic for money, im much more into beat matching and producing.
