Found some books of my dad's

yesterday, i was at home alone, and i decided to grab this book i lent to my dad a while ago and take it back... when i was looking for it, i found 2 books...
1. high times seed guide 2006
2. big book of buds, vol.2.

so i dont know if he smokes, or what, because it he does, thats wicked cool...

but i dont know how to aproach him about it...

i was thinking, just sit on the couch and read it untill he comes in and see's me... then i would ask him....


well, guru's suggest what i should do... and what you think about this...


and btw, if it helps you understand the situation, im 16.

welllll... If my dad were cool about things in general, then... I dunno. The best thing to usually start conversations of awkwardness about things like that would be to go to your dad and be like "hey, dad. I was curious if you have ever smoked marijuana" or something like that. Approach him with a conversation starter that will get you both involved in the subject, but not be too obvious about whats goin on. With my mom.. she found out... well, when me and my bro were basically hotboxing his room one time a couple summers ago... (actually, august will be my 2 year anniversary ^.^) my mom came down to say goodnight and smelled it... and we had a lil conversation and she basically said "be careful and judgemental about smoking the weed" and went to be.

anyway, i hope my 1/50th of a dollar advice will help

it's hard to give advice on how to approach someone we've never met. you know your dad best so maybe you should figure out a way to approach him about it. Maybe you can tell him you've tried it and see how he reacts; it's important that he doesnt see it effecting your day-to-day life.

he knows i smoke weed, he dosent know how often, but he knows i do it...

so mainly, i want to figure out if he smokes, and if i can eventually grow outside my house. (we are in a superrrr rural place, so its not a police problem, its a parents not wanting me to grow weed problem)
