A great story... (A grandma gets a hold of chronic cookies.)
So last night after I bought my usual quarter, I had decided to make some cookies, as I haden't made them before. I had already been smoking, so I thought it would kill two birds with one stone.
Used a cookie mix (a special rainbow chocolate chip kind), and pot-margarine. They turned out okay. Tasted great, once you got past that odd pot taste. But I didn't feel anything great.
Went out for the night. Came back to my grandmother's house (I'm staying with her currently, she's going into surgery next week.) and crashed. I left the cookies next to my computer, hidden by all the other junk on the table.
I slept in the next morning. Didn't wake up until a little after noon. My grandmother was in the kitchen, and I thought I heard her munching on something. I told her I had made some pot cookies the night before, and that they're the ones sitting next to my computer.
(She doesn't mind my smoking habits, by the way.)
She said "oops!", and put the cookie she was eating away. (She had only had a few bites.) I nod back off, wake up an hour later, and she told me that she grabbed another piece cause they were really good. I told her that I don't think I made them strong enough, so she shoudln't have anything to worry about.
6 hours later, she calls me into her room about something. We start talking (had totally forgotten about the cookies), and she starts forgetting what she was telling me about. She was saying she was confused.
I make her a pb and j sandwich (diabetics get confused when their sugar is low). She's eating, and starts telling me how her body feels so light, and that she was scared. I take her blood sugar... it's fine. I take her blood pressure, she's cool.
She starts giggling at the TV, and how it gets fuzzy all of a sudden, for no apparent reason. I raise an eyebrow. She tells me she's floating.
lol
I tell her she's stoned. (It took 6 hours for her body to digest the food. She's got a really slow metabolism.)
I sat with her for a good hour, talking to her and stuff. She didn't really enjoy the experience. It just freaked her out, I guess.
But still oh so funny to her grandson.
The woman's eyes were dillated as all hell, and she just crashed out, probably for the rest of the night.
tee hee hee. Poor thing...

I never had grandparents.
My mom's mother died before I was born from complications with diabetes.
My mom's father put a shotgun under his chin and blew his head off less than two years after his wife died.
My dad's mother died when he was 12.
My dad's father died when I was 2...so I didn't know him.

I'm sorry, man, that you never knew your grandparents. We all have sad stories, and reasons for others to cherish what they have.
It was just a cute story to tell, because everything turned out okay. I don't have a bounty of family either, dude, but I'm just trying to enjoy what I have, I guess.
Checked on her a minute ago, and she's snorin'!
But thanks...

lol She's really liberal about it. She was even considering getting a marijuana card for some of her conditions! (She smoked only once when she was in her thirties with her friends, and they had put a plastic bag over her head, and would continually blow smoke in the bag, not letting her get air. She puked, never touched pot again.)
But I've been teaching her more about pot every day I've been here, and she's a damn, open-minded grandma.
(We're tight, like brothas.)

Hilarious shit, I would love to get my grandma stoned..I've always just had grandmas, never knew any of the males 2 generations above me. My grandpa on my dad's side died when I was just a baby, much too young to remember him. My gramps on my mom's side committed suicide when my mom was only like 7 years old or something. I don't really remember much about the story except that he killed himself with a gunshot to the head.
