holidays, customs and weed

Me and my girlfriend are seasoned tokers with a question: we are going on holiday in a few weeks and we are wondering whether or not to take some with us.

We're going to Kefalonia, which is a Greek island. I've heard that the Greeks are pretty harsh when it comes to drugs in general, but I've not heard anything about how they feel about weed in particular. We've had bad experiences with buying weed abroad, especially in tourist resorts like the one we're going to, so we want to take some.

Has anyone ever taken a small ammount of grass through Customs? Do people get caught with a personal stash very often? Does anyone know anything about Greek Customs?

While having a wee stash would be sweet, we don't want to risk ruining our holiday, getting a criminal record or ending up in a Greek prison for the sake of a 1/2oz for 2 weeks!

Any advice?

The only thing I can tell you is that I spent a few days in Greece about a year ago and I couldnt find any weed. Although there were alot of stores selling bongs.

I'd say stick to what you can get, i use vacation as a time to get away from the herb, it can be smothering if you do it too much.

I voted take some with you, but dont only get some if you can find some there i guess, its not worth the risk because 2 week's holiday in greece will be enough fun.
