It is free to enter, and nailbiting to play. When I finished my team I felt like I had created a masterpiece more artistically perfect than anything Matisse of Van Gogh could have concucted....

It is a chance for football fans to use their knowledge to win lots of cash.
You get given a certain virtual budget, with which you must buy 12 players (a starting eleven and one sub) and you are not allowed to select any more than two players from each individual country.
Your virtual players win points as their real-lif counterparts compete in the world cup which is due to begin next Friday. Points are awarded for goals scored, assists, games played, and perhaps also for clean-sheets(this is when a team doesn't concede any goals in a match).
The virtual fantasy team which ammasses the most poins by the end of the month long tournament will win a lovely wad of cash.

it may take you a while to choose your players. But then again, perhaps bettr to ait until just bvefore next fridays kick off, that way you won't pick any players who get injured in training between now and then....
I check back on this post later tonight to se if we got a few players, and if so I will create the weedguru league...

cameron, i can't answer that yet mate...not until i know you guys have fixed up your own teams. I have a special feeling about the squad i have assembled...
Let me know if you guys sign up, then we should try get a seperate weedguru league sorted out, for fun , not money though.....but by playing in our own league I am sure that our teams are still entered for the main prizes in themain open2all league...

(I have 2 italians, 2 french, 2 argies, 2 brazillians, one dutch, one jap, one czech and finally one all important englishman t add some steel to this motlet crew of foreign superstars...)
