Why should weed be legalized?

Hey everyone im writing an english opinion paragraph on why weed should be legalized. So far ive argued that it should be legalized because it would

- lower crime rates
- good stress relief
- more people get killed by alcohol and tobacco annually

I need some more points like those listed above.

a reason weed should be lagalized is bewcaus eif it was legal then we wouldnt waste tax payers money on prosecuting people who have/deal weed

The question should be why is it illegal and why should it still be?!

Anyone who takes away that feeling that u get from it should be killed. If our congressmen/women dont know that feeling, how can they take it away from somebody? they dont know what they are missing
