i got cought by the pigs today with a 5 on me..im from NY and im 15 ..he took my adress name and number... is this going on my record ?

Did you set up a court date and did he bring you to the station? if he didnt do either of those then you wont have it on your record, you get whats called an official warning, it means your name is on the cop computer system, so if they ever come up to you and catch you again and say like 'whats your name' they search it on the computer and if you pop up they take you to jail, thats what i have.

ahh .. yea he didnt take me down or arrest me... so i guess im good for another time.,. i was chillin with a few other kids and i told the cop i didnt buy from this one kid that was in the car...but he turn around when i was in the car and told everyone that i did buy from him..and everyone msg me later on and was like " why u rat "..but i didnt..retarded cop

Welcome to Police Interrogation 101.

If you dont have a court date you werent charged, he took your info as a field report. That way if anything serious happens in that area he has documentation of you being there and your location.

My Rights. Silence. ( you don't have to tell the cops anything) I can say "No" if the police ask permission to search me or my things. Saying 'NO' dose not mean I have something to hide. I can leave unless I am being detained or arrested. If I am being detained or arrested, I have a right to know why, and have a right to speak privatly to a lawyer without delay- even if I can't afford to pay. I can only be strip searched in private and by officers of the same sex. I have a right to know a police officer's name and badge number. I can report a police officer who abuses me, swears at me, or violates my rights.

ive been walked up to by the cops alot, they ask whet im doin`, i say just out for a walk, they ask for my details, i just say, 'im not comfatable givin` youthis info' end of convo, i walk off.

If you get a record when your under 18 it dosent matter, it gets cleared when you turn 18. Thats what I've heard, but, I think thats just the cops computer that gets cleared.. your warnings, I don't remember...
It dosent make sense that they'd clear your 'permenent' record..

na na nothing happen..i was scared at the time cus i was kinda new a little bit..but now i dont worry about cops

it sucked at the time though cus i was chillin with 4 other kids and we stop at the park for 1 second ( it was like 90 º that day ) ..deciding where we gonna smoke but the kid just lit the bowl and we started there...20 seconds later the pig shows up....i was fuckin pissed but whatever

He's not retarded. Cops can lie to someone if they think it will get them to fess up. He was trying to get your friend to admit it by acting like he already had shit on him, even though he didn't.
