In addition to the drug charges, Allen was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

This is stupid. He is 19, im guessing since he is over 18 he will be charged as an adult, yet because he is under 21 he will be charged for possesion of alcohol. An adult is being charged for possesion of alcohol.

I hope/may be wrong, but if not, that is some fucked up shit.

Unlucky about your friend too, but it wasnt too proffesional, if he is doing it properly he would not have kept 3.5 ounces in his car. That is exactly how my buddy/dealer got busted. He shouldnt get in too much trouble, becasue my dealer just got community service, and he also had about 40 speed pills aswell.

Oh man thats bad news that the drugs were within 1000 feet of a school. Possesion in a school zone is a much more serious punishment. Your friend could be in a lot of trouble. What I dont get is why he would consent to a search of his car if he had all that weed in it? People seem to forget that they have rights. You can always say no. The worst that would happen is the cops would come back with a warrant, but at least that would give the guy another chance to get the weed out of his car. I cant stress enough that you dont have to let the cops search if they ask. Dont be afraid to say no people.

Sometimes you can earn infamy for the most ridiculous reasons.. I know plenty of people who have been busted for selling weed. One kid I know got busted with a half pound. He didn't get his name on the news. Maybe it's different over on the west coast, who knows.
