i gotta say i was very very dissapointed with donnie darko. after hearing much good stuff about it , from official critics and friends, I was expecting so much more, but it is often the case with over hyped films, the expectation builds up too much for the film to be able to fufil.

it seems more like the director asumed it would be a cult movie rather than putting ful effort into making a cult movie.
for this admittedly intriguing subject i.e. time travel and the like, i prefer 'the butterfly effect'...

anyway each to their own...

NB i hear there is talk of a new back to the future caper, but starring the fox as the doc this time round, if it does make it to the big screen...

i loved donnie darko pretty much all the deep shit rele got my mind going. the only thing i never understood was all that shit with the bunny....what was that?

its overrated. i watched it like 30 times....hahaha it was good the first 2.

why would you watch a movie you dont like 30 times. and as far as it being overhyped when i saw it i had never heard anything about it. it blew my mind and i still love it.
