so what now....cycles....?

OK, well i threw some seeds in a pot with good dirt , hid it under the stairs with a 18 inch light about 12 inches away from the dirt, 4 of them sprouted and they are about 2 inches big now, what should be my water and light cycle be? and how can i stop the growth for the plant till about 8 or 9 inches? im hella new at growing so the easyest steps would be bad ass.

ive been using all day lighting on the plants and the light is not very strong, well sorta i guess, any info would be good

While your plants are still growing you can keep them on a 24 hour light cycle, or a 18 on , 6 off cycle. Im using 18/6, have had much better results with it, i have no scientific proof but i believe the plants appreciate those few hours of sleep. As for watering it's always better to underwater than overwater, i don't have an exact schedule, i just water when the soils getting dry, a good system to use is feed your plants nutes one watering, feed them just water the next, but don't feed your plants any nutrients for the first two weeks, or until your plants grow their 2nd set of fan leaves.
