What ram must i buy?

K7S5A Motherboard - thats y motherbaord!i rather impulsively bought a 512mb pc3200 cl3 184 pin dimm stick but the fucker doesnt fit!

i got 2 many pins on this little monster so i gunna have to resell it and look for something more

can neone tell me if there a certain kind i need to look for?

the two 128mb ram sticks i got on the motherbaord at the moment are sdram i think. do i need to look for only sdram??

someone help please?

i got old duron 800mhz processor and the K7S5A Motherboard .

i wanting 512mb just need to know if my board can take it and whta kind specifically i need as obviously the one i got is too modern for my mother.

I looked up your specs, make sure the ram you buy is 184-pins or 168-pins, both SDram and DDram will fit for reference Look here

Oh yeah and if you're gonna buy 512 Mb, the best quality is obtained through
1 stick of 512 mb, not through like 2 256's and make sure they're the same brand and type, 'caus SOMETIMES if you take 2 different brands it can cause interference...

the ram i bought was 184 pin, and it doesnt fit.

On the pins bit, my 2 RAM sticks i using have 2 little gaps in the pins. the 512mb 184 pin ddr i bought has only one little gap in the pins. this is why it doesnt fit.

Hmmmm RAM-sticks should be universal... Do you have a type and manufacturer of the 512 one?

I think I see your problem, the memory you bought is 184-pin SDram, while your board only supports SDram of the 168-pin type... At least that's what I think your problem is 'caus I'm no expert I only no so much, so I think you need to go back to the store and trade it in, or try to find someone to buy it from you...
