1 or 2 plants legal in BC?

I heard from a friend that in B.C. it is completely legal to cultivate 1 or 2 marijuana plants without breaking anylaws as long as you don't crop your plants and grow them like any other annual plant life. I've been lookin around the net but haven't found any solid proof of this yet, so I figured I would toos the question to the forums here.

Does anybody know if this statement holds any validity? I'm gonna keep searchin the wired but in the mean time I look forward to your replies.

no its illegal but theres so many grow ops that they aren't going to waste their time busting a house with 2 plants. They go for the houses that are wall to wall plants etc.

yeah, small time shit is pretty lax in BC, i mean, in Vancouver there was a story about marijuana plants growing outside of a coffee shop in the middle of an upper-class downtown area, it was on the news and everything, and they are just letting them grow. (someone threw seeds in the flowerbed) i mean, its like possession... its not "legal" but its really not a big issue here.

I'd think almost anywhere you live in Canada you could easily grow a few plants in your house without getting caught. I mean, how often do the cops come busting down your door to raid 2 plants?

Dude I really wouldn't worry about it if you live in Canada, much less B.C. They're not gonna come raid the house with *gasp* 2 MARIJUANA PLANTS!!!

There are people up there with warehouses just full of plants next to plants next to flamingos next to plants.

Did you know that since having an 8th of weed now isn't considered criminal in British Columbia they have made stricter laws about growing plants. At least this is what I've heard.

Well I was never worried I just wanted to know if it was legal. Lots of people where I live actually grow one or two plants. Unfortunately I still live with my parents at the moment and they don't want me growing plants because if anyone ever found out it "would get them fired" and look bad for them blah blah blah Which isn't true, they're just paranoid sketches towards anything drug related that doesn't come from over the counter or their docter.

But one day I'll start growing my own stash, one day not too far into the future.

Well yeah, but worried to the extent where they fear they will loose their jobs of being an accountant and a safety manager... it just seems unrealistic, but then again they like making up excuses before getting to the real reasons behind their decisions.

Still gotta respect their house though.
