Heres a pic of my WIN XP desktop. about to get windows Vista when beta 2 comes out next month and ill post up my linux desktop next time i log into it (i typically dont use linux for media or web surfing due to codec/plugin incompatibilities)

Ill be sure to post a windows vista / suse desktop soon

i havent tried vista yet, but i used several of the longhorn (before they renamed it to "vista") alphas(pre betas), and sadly after 4051 (whatever build it was) it went downhill, but they all worked with my drivers. some better than others, but it still has the win nt 5.1 kernel (i believe its kernel - been working with linux too much lol) and .net framework as Windows XP
