Shows a lack of plannin in the past and the present. If you reclaim land thats a swamp and below sea level and then proceed to build a city there then wouldnt it make good sense to protect it properly.
Not sayin America deserves this, but this year just seems to be the year the Earth fights back. Look at the Tsunami, record temperatures in Europe and floods that destroy thousands of homes. Let alone this hurricane. Everytime i see a black cloud at the moment i keep thinkin should i get inside and strap down the family silver.

About the Armageddon, take in consideration that in the bible it says that when the devil "rules" the earth and righteousness is over run with sin that 2/3 of the worlds population will be taken out before we are taken into salvation. Instead of thinking that it's mother nature taking it revenge try to grasp your minds around the thought of the states being punished for it's sinful ways.

Just think about it, i don't wanna get reply's full of people saying they don't believe in god and stupid crap like that

Don't be silly, natural disasters have been around since millions of years and they have claimed human life since the dawn of man. It will happen again, too.

It could be done... Remember that big heat satellite thing they had in Batman Beyond? If some terrorists had one of those set up, they could of amplified the heat while Katrina was still above the water, making it more powerful. Sounds like something out of a Metal Gear game.

I don't really believe that's happening right now, I'm just saying it could, and likely will happen eventually.
