C'mon bro, Thats something you shouldnt jus go out and do.

The Crip Walk aient nothing about dancing or looking cool. Theres a message behind each different move in a Crip Walk, And its always expanding.

I can C-Walk like a mother fuck with the Timbo's. Ive been down with Folk for over 10 years. Folk is a smaller part of the Crips, The Folk/Crip connection.

There's a story about the crip walk? I've been doing that heel-toe thing, and the one where you switch-the-foot and lift your leg. Tell me about it dude.

It depends on hood to hood, Gang divison to gang division.

They'res no such gang as jus the "Crips". Crips was from back in the day when it first started. Now they'res 100's if not more different crip gangs.

Some moves in the C-Walk jus represent your hood. Some say that the block is hot. Some say bloods or rival gangs are on the lookout. Jus all kinds of shit.

The C-Walk i do most often goes like this.. Your always on your heel with both feet. \\ II // Its hard to explain. Thats repping the Folk/Crip connection, Soutwest Detroit style.

Here's some shit i found on the net about the C-Walk.

"A winning bet would be that most who Cripwalk (or C/B/G-walk, because Bloods and Cholos have their own variations) probably don’t even know what they are doing or from where it came. The Cripwalk has become a commodity, or made into a material possession that has lost meaning, by people who are unaware of what it is and the significance of doing it.

Most who risk doing the dance outside of the gang capital of the world may have learned of the Cripwalk by watching gang affiliates Ice Cube, WC and others do what they call the “Boogie.” Why Boogie? “Because gangstas don’t dance." And that’s a common response – gangstas don’t dance and the Cripwalk, although it may appear cool and catchy when Lil’ Bow Wow and other upstarts do it, the Cripwalk is much more than a dance.

“It (the cripwalk) is part of the Crip culture,” “All these cats…even Bloods…Bloods used to B-walk – are Cripwalkin’ and that’s disrespectful to the Gs, ‘cause they blendin’ in with the bustaz.” Other L.A. based affiliates like WC have made similar comments about those biting off the culture of the world’s largest gang - founded by Raymond Washington in late 60s L.A.

“First of all when you’re Cripwalkin’, you’re spelling your name and it’s distinct. It allows others who know in the club - to know ‘I’m in the club’ you gotta respect me. As in recognize my set and I’m lettin’ it be known who I am."

many affiliates are extremely offended by those biting the style of the Gs and consider it very disrespectful. “My homies are out here dyin’ and been dyin’- it’s do or die city,” “It’s not a toy to be played with. Do that around my peoples and you might get’cha jaw ate."

The Crip Walk is part of gang culture and has been for over 30 years, People not banging with the Crips are not supposed to give the real meanings behind what they're doing means, Because it gives they're guard away.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.
