Have you had more jobs than me?

Post by Caro »

I thought it would be fun to list them, as I've had quite a few. List your jobs and how you left! If you've had more jobs than me, I'll give you seeds.

.5 Babysitting

1 Burger King. I was 15. Hated it. Quit when my hot friend Josh reccomended me to the restuarant he worked at, World Wrapps, which was quite a bit up the scale from Burger King.

2 Fresh Ideas. A little bistro owned by World Wrapps, located in the food court of Century Square tower, downtown Seattle. Transferred.

3 World Wrapps Broadway. Transferred.

4 World Wrapps Two Union Towers. Quit when I was sick with pneumonia and bronchitis for a week, during which I found out my parents had become crack addicts.

5 Cocaine salesperson. Quit when I quit doing coke.

6 USWEST (Now quest). Operator. Voluntary resignation, my union leader advised me to, as termination was imminent. Termination was imminent because I used my little sister's pee to pass the drug test to get the job, I even passed the logic test, but I was a full blown drug addict and couldnt make it there on time consistently.

7 World Wrapps Bank of America Tower. lol. Quit to go back to school.

8 Canine Casa, dog bather. Let go because I could only work part time during school.

9 Worl Wrapps REI. Transferred.

10 World Wrapps Queen Anne. I finally got fired from this company when my boss suggested we pour vodka into our smoothies on my birthday. he got drunk and left all the money unsecured; when they fired him, he told on me!

11 Mud Bay Granary, healthy food for pets. Pet care specialist. God, how I loved that job. My really cool boss got fired, then this stupid bitch was the boss. I got fired because she told corporate she was "scared for her life". Cunt. Out of all the jobs I lost, I regret that one most.

12 Jamba Juice, shift supervisor. Fired after 2 years of work for accidentally not getting the safe door latched. The alarm was set, all the money was safe, it just didn't click shut before I left on Friday night.

13 Seattle Parks and Recreation. Ballfield attendant. What a sweet job. Too bad it was seasonal.

14 Vegete - cook and waitress at vegetarian sandwich shop. I got laid off coz it went out of business.

15 cable Bridge SCAM- cocktail waitress. I'm still not sure why I got fired - no doubt due to the politics of another scheming bitch!

16 - Granny's Buffet. Worse than Burger King. Quit when Dana came to visit and I didn't feel like being a salad bitch for another minute.

17 IHOP. Dicked me around for 3 months and laid me off after training, due to some stupid bitches.

18 David Thompson Resort, my most recent firing. I think I got fired coz this fat bitch was yelling at me and I didnt like it. They said they fired me for discussing the way they treated me with other employees. they said I was lying but of course I wasn't.

19 - ******* ******* Landscaping. I currently work there and don't plan on getting fired. My boss loves me coz im a hard working girl with muscles, like her. I dont have to deal with customers, or stupid bitches, so I think this job is safe.

20 - True Value hardware store. All the employees are stupid bitches, so it's only a matter of time before I get fired.

21 - Ripley enetrprises - account billing and statements. Again, no stupid bitches, so I think this job is safe!!!

I'm shooting for 25 jobs by the time I'm 25 8)

- fruit picking as a kid
- paper boy for 2 morning papers which i quit when i was 16
- working at a supermarket which sucked after half a year
- landscaping at my dad's work which i still do ocassionally
- this shitty job involving cleaning meat processing factory's at night, which paid really well, but they only needed people in the summer vacation, so working there with a friend, picking him up every night, having a big ol stash at his place, and working with high-pressure-water-guns afterwards resulted in being fired after 4 nights.
- fryboy at local snackbar, really nice chilled out manager, but the work sucked, smelling like a friggin hamburger really doesnt get the best out of people.
- work at a hardware store which was quite nice
- work as landscaper at my dad's work, still doing that in the summertime and after school, which i can finally leave behind after 20 years

aint a lot of jobs, but certainly more than most of the people around where i live had
jah is everywhere...give thanks and praise

I've had a few jobs, but never counted them before...

1. When I was 13 I had a paper route (didn't we all?)

2. When I was 16 I worked at Green Gables (a Maritime chain of convenience stores owned by Sobey's). I loved that job.

3. Fulltime work at a beer and wine wholesaler warehouse. Great job there, because I got my beer and wine making supplies at wholesale prices.

4. Wal Mart. 5 years. Garden center, to food and stationery, then the photo lab. I loved working in the photo lab.

5. Future shop. Selling computers for commission. Future Shop is Canada's Best Buy.

6. Worked for one week as a cable/telephone line installer. Had to drive 3 hours to get to the site, and stayed in a motel for the whole week. It was dirty work, and I hate motels...so I quit that one.

7. Backshift at The Real Atlantic Superstore. It's another chain of grocery stores owned by Loblaws. I worked the graveyard shift stocking shelves.

8. Minacs. Call center work. I was working for GM Onstar program, but I was selling subscriptions, not saving lives or unlocking doors.

9. Corporatel. Call center again. Worked for US Inspect doing co-ordinating of home inspector's schedules and such.

10. Avery's Farm Market. A local chain of fruit and vegetable stands. Not a great job, but I got stoned there a lot.

11. Quill/Staples call center. This is my current job and i've been there almost 3 months and I still enjoy my job, so that's a bonus.
