I'm sure you all heard about the hanging of two homosexuals in Iran. It was pretty funny to see how the media manipulated the general public to think that Iran tortures and/or executes homosexual minors because the sharia says so.

Newsflash, dumbasses.

-They weren't minors.
-They were sentenced to death for kidnapping, abusing and raping a 13-year old boy.

But yeah, punishing homosexuals in muslim countries should be condemned, no matter what other things they may have done

Mind you, the same people who were condemning the 'barbaric homophobic zealots of Iran' are probably the same people who want child abusers dangling from the highest tree in the woods.

Our own government has condemned the executions in Iran. Two weeks earlier, they made good buddies with the Chinese, who, according to Human Rights Watch, are the number 1 in the world when it comes to executing political dissidents, minors, homosexuals, handicapped and elderly. Over 75% of all executions worldwide are comitted in China.

But then again, Iran isn't rapidly growing into the world's next economical super power. Iran is a naughty country.

How about how U.S. supports Musharrif (Pakistan) even though he's a dictator just because Musharrif sucks up to Bush. No one lists him as a dictator... but he gained power by seizing the government using the military, put Pakistan into martial law, exiled the Prime Minister, and made himself President (or something along those lines... I'm not quite sure the order of events) but yet U.S. supports him even though they're anti-dictators.
