hunting them ...where? terrorists are all over the bloody place. England's already got enough anarchists, ex IRA morons, half an Arab kingdom...Well as long as the US is hunting them over there the less of a chance for a large group of them to come over here.
If you have to fight a war tis better to fight the war on someone elses land and not your own.
When the Sikhs in India started their Khalistan movement, they took shelter in London...
how do you know there isnt a little al quada right there in Dakota? the chaps behind 9/11 were learning how to fly planes IN the United States..
Interviwed the secretary general of the local right wing islamic fundamentalists last week in connection with an attack on a mosque. Chap says (off the record) "do you think i actually believe in all this? this is my job..i get paid to do it...just like that guy there (security fellow with AK47) and that guy there (guy bringing in tea)..this is my career option..."
i wish i could have had that published...

Thank you.camerön wrote:destroying the middle east is like hitler killing jews
Bombing the entire middle east? what. the. fuck. There are innocent civilians over there too. There are children, artists, inventors, people that have hope for world peace, men and women that have been far more affected by this war than anyone here, there is an entire history and culture there...why should that be destroyed? You say things like that with a lack of passion and a very fake intent on solving some problem you know nothing about. Families here can sit in there big comfortable homes and complain about how expensive it's getting to fill up their SUVs, we're just blind to everything.
A bomb here followed by a bigger bomb there? That's the solution? That makes me so incredibly sad. I just see ignorance, but I understand how we seperate ourselves from something we aren't witnessing or hearing about... we were given up to the minute details of the london bombings but rarely hear anything more than the basics of our bombs blowing up in Iraq.. oh, maybe some night vision shots (how emotional...) but you don't hear much more. If I were American, I'd like to know what my tax dollars were going into, because you could have solved poverty in Africa with the fuckin money being poored into this useless war. And as a Canadian, I'm proud as all hell we didn't take part.
I suggest some of you read "A Short History of Progress" by Ronald Wright

I didn't even have to write anything because you already spoke all my thoughts. Perhaps a bit more belligerently than I would have, but yes, well said nontheless.

American politics is what makes it the most powerful country in the world. But at the same time, the same arrogant politics causes things souch as terrorism to happen in USA and other countries with simmilar politics. So, it's all pretty simple. When America stops it's ways, that's when terorrism stops... Terrorism is just too hard to fight (almost impossible). I'm not justifying terrorism or blaming America. I'm not blaming anyone, it's just global politics. It's always been that way and it will always be that way. It's war, plain and simple. No "peace missions" or any other story made up to fool the stupid. It's just war for money and oil.

Thats why this war needs to be fought with special ops. An elite group of soldeirs trained to kill. How do you think Clinton avoided wars certainly not by letting all countries just be at ease. No sir he had spies, assassins, special forces like the Navy seals, green Berets, and Delta force in there hitting only the main people that needed to be taken out. That is the kind of war we need one of stealth not a war of send a whole army in and wipe out anyone in your path that is plane arrogant and stupid. Not to mention its costing taxpayers trillions of dollars.
IMO send in the elite soldiers have them attack quickly and quietly and have them kill the people that need to be killed not the innocent civillians.

It's a never ending cycle, kill the terrorists and their families will certainly become angry with you, start plotting ways to get back at dirty ol America, and voila, brand new batch of terrorists. Scratch is pretty much right, once we can stop our arrogant power trip, terrorists will probably back off our asses for once. Otherwise the warring nations will just continue to try and get one up on the other.

The reason why Clinton avoided wars was because he didnt piss off other countries and was not driven by the all mighty dollar. You mean to tell me we can find Saddam but where the fuck is Osama Bin Laden, the "mastermind" behind the 9/11 attacks and the attacks on the world trade center in 96 (??). Also im pretty sure Clinton would have actually paid attention to fucking FBI intelligence that said we were vulnerable to an attack.cutthecashflow wrote:Thats why this war needs to be fought with special ops. Say what you will about Clinton, but damnit he was one of the best presidents in history. Looks and the stats and they do not lie.
And Do you really feal any safer in this post 9/11 world? Me, i dont feel much difference at all its just that you got the media telling you every day the terrorist can attack any minute by using anything. Its the world we live in. We are no more safer now then we were September 10, 2001 imo.
