phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

Anyone get this message when changing pages on the forums??? It has been happening to me today..wondering if is the site or the computer??

yeah i think its been happening for years to be honest, something to do with the way the site is structured i think, maybe just the host or too many people trying to open threads at once

I have gotten that message like 8 times in the past 10 minutes. Like i will look at a thread then click to go back to the forum and that message comes up. Then when i replied to a post, that message came up. Then after i restarted my computer (thinking maybe my comp was fucked) it did it again. I need one of those fucking hammers mario had in Donkey Kong. Who know the one that played that nifty little toon when you grabbed it.

persoanly i think its the site timing` out, like it will get so far, but stop, bc the server is over loaded ?

I dont know but whenever that seems to happen then I get kicked off and have to log back in then all of my little orange things are gone so I dont know which posts I have and have not looked at.

it's so annoying when that happens, sometimes i gotta check each thread for new posts, but i'm usually too lazy
