This is my mini review of dam, hope it helps you mate, copied from an older thread....

I got back from dam in early january, 3 day trip same as the poster. I spent about £200 and that included my flights, hotel, and everything else. Bought about 10 grams for myself over the time i was there too. Much better deals than england or anywhere probably, i bought 3 grams from grey area and i rolled about 10 blunts out of what i got, cost me £15.

The hotel was cool in a shit sort of way because there was no staff or anything so after 11 you could smoke downstairs in the reception area, there was supposed to be no smoking in the room with a fine for setting the fire alarm off, we didn't see one in the bathroom though Me and 2 mates crammed into this tiny bathroom about big enough for 5 people cramped together, all smoking a blunt each of the finest hash in dam, think it was afghan cream or something. So smooth along the back of your throat, anyway it got crazy because the smoke was so thick and creamy and it wasnt going anywhere, so im buzzing my tits off because you couldn't breathe without inhaling more of it in anyway that was cool.

Also funny story from the airport, when we were going to dam we went to Coventry airport, and some of uk users may know that its the smallest airport ever, the departure lounge, check in and shop are all in the same diy shack probably the same size as a couple of standard airport toilets. Anyway our flight left at 6.30 in the morning but we wanted to get a spliff on just before getting on the flight but thats when we realised there was nowhere to go that was out of sight at all, so we started smoking it behind the corner where a small shop is and the woman suddenly comes out for her fag break so we were talking to her for a sec then we moved on cus she was getting suspicuous, the only place was right outside the entrance to the building so we smoke it there and suddenly the security guy comes out stops and says is that what i think it is, we all sort of look at him sheepishly thinking shit! and he just says move it away a bit lads its a bit fucking blatant right there

Then we got inside and walk through the checks, stuck the baggage on a scanner thing but once again it wasnt a security point just a total diy job that looks like its basically there for effect so no one stresses out that the security is poor, anyway so im sort of buzzing at this point (just after the spliff) and we go to walk through and one of the security guys takes me aside and starts padding me down, had me assume the position and everything, now i didnt have anything on me i shouldnt have but it was still a trippy moment non the less.

Tried quite a few strains in my time, Jack Herrer, White Rhino, Northern Lights, Oceans 12 haze, NYC Diesel, Kali Mist, Grey Berry, Blueberry, Bubble Gum, Purple Haze, Afghan Cream hash, some other hashes. My favourite smoke was the hash but I think my favourite bud was the greyberry from Grey Area, i think it won the cannabis cup last year or maybe year before, it had the nicest smell, taste and look of any bud ive ever tried, top notch.

Also for reference a good coffee shop to go is popeye, its right next to Barneys which is where we were originally going but it was full and didnt look too welcoming, anyway in Popeyes you go in and the counter is on the left and straight on you can go to a raised platform with about 10 tables or go underneath which is pretty well closed off. Thats where we went and picked one of the two tables, theres crazy shit all over the wall which gives it a nice effect, decent prices and a good breaskfast selection, forget Barneys go to Popeye

oh, my bad, that's still good if you're rollin like 1.5 blunts. Do you use cigarillo's? cos i do those sometimes and they take about 1.5.

personally im in the UK, so cant get really nice cigars like swishers.. so mostly i use wraps.. some people dont like them, but i'd swear by them.. picked up 5 today.. blunts ahoy, gonna have one of those after my morning joint when i get off work tomorrow.

ah swishers are indeed nice, but i enjoy wraps a lot. I buy like one a week, favorite flavours are the different berry's.

got Pina Colada, Strawberry Kiwi , Wild Honey, Grape-a-Licious and Blueberry burst today.. havent tried the grape or strawberry before... the others i have tried.. looking forward to being able to smoke them... am working tonight, cant really smoke them yet... saturdays possibly the earliest im gonna have the chance to smoke them.

nah, the guy i get them from used to always have them, but their long term out of stock with the supplier he goes to.. havent seen them around at all..

In Amsterdam, I bought 4 grams of "Purple Haze". It's been denied that it exists, but it was purple and it fucked me up, so big up to it. Anyway, i also bought a Gin N' Juice wrap. I have to say, whenever I feel like using a simple wrap, I'm using Gin N' Juice everytime from now on.
