Heh it's nothing pretty Schwoot, did it in like 30 seconds before i left for work today.

They had us on opposite shifts for a while, she was 7-2, i was 2-close, so not a lot of time together. We're going into our busiest weekend of the year now though and I just got bumped back on to mornings, hopefully ill pump out some nice dishes and get Caro some tip money for that camera.

Hey Higher, you're pretty good at pulling up links! If you can find me a nice digitcal cam thats over 3.0mp for around $100, chances are ill buy it.

What a horrible day. That ogre bitch locked me in her office and screamed in my face for no good reason - she was stressed coz she can't multitask and talked a bunch of shit about me to the owner. It doesn't matter what I say or that I felt unsafe. I just spent an hour at their dining room table - with the 3 owners and the ogre trying to defend myself and keep my sanity under all their abuse and lies! It was so awful. Now they are "talking" to Sammy.

I don't know what's gonna happen but I didn't want it to end this way.

...I know we could play their game but it is hard. They are crazy Albertan Redneck millionaires and they don't like me.

So which Albertan hicktown are you guys in anyways? I know if you wanna make some quick mad cash head over to Fort McMurray. They're booming right now and entry level jobs pay you between $10-$12 an hour! Plus if you can get into one of the oil factory jobs you'll be making $15+/hr.

My buddy went over there and was offered 3 different jobs within his first day of arriving! And one of them was a gas station job with a $600 signing bonus!!!

so yeah, just some food for thought

Bad News , Caro got terminated yesterday for no good reason. She actually got fired because the kitchen manager yelled at her and she tried to defend herself...anyways, they begged me not to, offered me a better position , but i had to go with her. So we drove her car to my godfathers house , 3 hours away in the town of Golden where opportunity for employment happens to be booming, we just have to update her work permit so she can work somewhere other than the resort. Checking out the classifieds in the paper, there are tons of waitressing jobs for her to apply for, tons of cooking positions for myself, and one particular job im interested in at a lumber mill that starts you at $22/hour. So today we got the resume's printed off and are searching for a) jobs and b) a place to live , since the stay with my godfather, respectfully, should not be too lengthy. Rents pretty cheap here too, and a perfect little town for growing, 3 bedroom houses just 10 mins outside of town are $550 a month, cant complain...

Anyways, thought id stop in quick, we'll let ya know how it goes...

I'm sure you both will be able to find a good job out there though. As others have said, Western Canada is the easiest part of Canada to find work. That job at $22 bucks an hour.. jump on it dude thats wicked pay!!

Researching what it takes to allow me to legally stay and work in Canada isn't very promising... Sammy is idealistic but in reality....

I want to stay here so bad. I want to live in BC. I don't really have a home to go back to, as I was expecting to relocate at the end of the summer with plenty of cash.

Obviously getting fired was about the worst thing that could happen to me. They said it was because I discussed our "meeting" (otherwise known as the hour long gang-up abuse session) with other employees when they told me not to.

sucks.

Shit Caro, that sucks. There seem to be quite a few little rats up there, maybe it aint the kinda place you wanna be working anyway, especially if your boss treats you like a piece of shit.

Why can't you get a permit to work elsewhere, coz you got fired from the last job so quick?

Hopefully you'll get a well deserved lucky break soon and it'll all work out, if not you should come to england, we'll let anybody in

Caro and Sammy let it be known that i intend to write a VERY strongly worded letter towards your old place of employmeent and voice my displeasure with them. I will also let them know that although i am not nor will not be in the immediate area for a vacation or retreat, but if i was i would surely not choose their establishment. i got yall's back.
