my friends dad was talking to me and my friend, and he was telling us about smoking weed. (no joke) he told us how to make a bong out of a pop can, but i couldnt really understand him, because he barely speaks english. he said something like bend it in half, and then poke a hole in the bottom, then put water in it, and put the wee in the part you normaly drink out of, light it, and then inhale through the hole you poked in the bottom. or something like that. does anyone know what hes talking about? or if it works?

How to Make Your Own Bong

Note: There are many different ways to make a bong, this is just a few of them. They are designs i have collected on the net, and ones sent in by the members...if you have any new ideas, email them to keithdag@aol.com

Basic "Bottle Bong"



Supplies:

1. A 20oz Pop Bottle(this is the chamber)
2. A marker(this is the shaft)
3. A socket wrench head(this is the bowl)
4. A sharp knife or razor blade(this is for the cutting you need to do)
5. Silicon or glue(this is for sealing up the cracks and making the bong as air tight as possible)
6. Clay or something to be used as a stand(this is purely optional and only if the bong won't stand on it's own)
7. A screen or tin foil(this is for the screen)

Procedure:

1. First off you want to strip the label off of the 20oz Pop Bottle. Next wash out the 20oz Pop Bottle to make sure it's clean. After that, you can get rid of the cap, because it is not needed.
2. Next, open the marker and get rid of the inside, cap, and cut the front and back off with the kinfe.
3. Third, put the socket wrench head on one side of the marker. Then use the silicon or glue to seal up the openings around the bottom side of the socket wrench head. Note: Hot glue is not a good thing to use, because it tends to melt when the bowl gets really hot.
4. After that, use the knife to make a small hole somewhere on the back of the 20oz Pop Bottle. This will be your carb. Make sure the carb is above where the bowl will be, and on the opposite side.
5. Next, use the knife to make a bigger hole, or slit, on the opposite side of the carb for the marker to fit into. Don't make this hole too big, because you want the marker to be held steadily into place.
6. Sixth, use the silicon or glue to seal up around the marker. This is to both hold the marker in place, and seal up the holes that may be around the marker.
7. Now, cut the screen or tinfoil to the right size and fit it inside the bowl. Note: DO NOT use any silicon or glue to hold it into place. Also, if you are using tinfoil you will need to poke many small holes in it.
8. Next, see if your bong stands up by itself. If it does then you are finished. If it don't then you got one more step to go.
9. (Optional)Take your clay, or whatever you are using for a stand, and fit it around the base of the bong. Then mold it so that it either looks good or holds the bong up, which ever you prefer. Let the clay dry and you are now finished.

Its easier to use a bottle, you put a screen with weed over the part u normally drink from, and leave the bottle full of water. You then jam a pen or something through the bottom and start burning the weed. As the water pours out it forms a vacuum in the bottle sucking the smoke in. When all the waters gone or when all the weed is burnt, you take of the screen, tilt the bottle so the water level is below the hole, then inhale the hole chamber. Similar to gravity. I think he did this with a pop can somehow

the easiest way to smoke out of a can is this:

make one side of the can flat and then poke holes small enough so the weed doesnt fall through then put a hole on another side or the bottom if you wish for the carb then put the weed on the flattened side on the small holes, put your mouth on the parth where you'd normally drink out of, light the weed and toke biatch
