and its not really anything special, its only main point was that it was purple buds, but change the light cycles on flowering and you can get any bud to look like that.... i think i heard that the real purple haze strain died out years ago.. cant remember who said about the dying out, i think it was sammy who said about the light cycles and purple buds.
