I got a car for my 18th birthday... Its a cheap ass Toyota Camry, the only decent things about it are the sunroof and the CD player. I really need new tires and rims mostly...
anyone know how gas reliable Camrys are?

I am about 6'1 and a shade under 11 stone, fuck knows what i am in meters or kilos. Who cares.camerön wrote:yeah everything else is metric though i.e. weight, height. just not distance and speed, i think its coming soon though

Agreed man metric is so much nicer and easier everything is divisible in tens and stuff and are English system of measurements is just plain right confusing.auto wrote:I blame Americans for trying to force non-metric on the rest of the world. We're one of the few countries to try to be different. If anything, i hope WE cave in and the world converts to metric.camerön wrote:i think everyone should use metric

finally got my car photo up, its so cool I will post it here

I own this car. Its not a future, past or anything but the car I drive. Its not as nice as some of those muscle cars, but I think it has style.

u guys just hit my special subject, cars lol.
i had no idea people on here were so into cars and shit, i was gonna create a post like this but thought it wouldnt get a reply
how wrong i was. well here goes.:-
my first car was a gold vauxhall nova (thats an opel to u europeans!)
i dont got a pic of it though...... it was a shitter but good first car!
second car was this:-

1992 vauxhall astra 1.4 injection!
third car was this (u may recognice it from my sig
):-

1992 vauxhall astra again (now u know where i got my name
) 1.6 injection.
fourth:-

this was my vauxhall nova 1.4sr running on twin webber carbs.
as u can see this pic is while it was being modified by myself.
unfortuantly i never got any pictures before i sold it while it was done, but this is what it looked like only with no back windows as i converted it to a van

fifth car was this :-

vauxhall corsa gsi. pretty much standard
sixth car was this:-

u might recognise that from my sig aswell.
its a 1991 vauxhall astra GSI 0-60 in 7.3 seconds. 150bhp and 140mph top speed, unfortuantly, group 15 insurance was just too much for me after the first year so got rid now
seventh car was this:-

1.6 16v vectra.
was actually the girlfriends but i had to share for a bit
she just sold it last week.
and drum roll please, im currently driving this car!:-

its 1.5 diesel.
lol, i just using it as a runabout till i find a decent car to get.
i gots 12 points on my license now though so gotta find a cheap car to insure
my favourite car so far was my blue nova van, because i did all the work myself and modified it from scratch. i was very proud, but i had to sell to get something newer, and faster
