I tend to think thats just part of it, for instance i won't smoke a fag but ill still crave a joint everyday. Im an addict to being stoned and the way that makes me feel, the state of mind it puts me in if you get me..
Nicotines still quite abit part of the addiction id say though. Someone should do a study on the two different marajuana smokers, stoners who put baccie in there zoots and thoughs who don't. See how greatly this effects the addiction..

But the nicotine has nothing at all to do with the addiction of marijuana. The active ingredients in both cigarettes and marijuana are completely different.

Though i do get what you mean, the nicotine in the joint will also give an effect as the cannabinoids do, possibly making you feel different. I wouldn't know if you do, as the only time i use tobacco in a joint is when i use hash.
