Just moved into this crazy ass apartment complex, since my boy lives there and he's a straight-edge redneck (oxymoron of the day) I thought you know, whatever, this is gonna be lame. Before I know it I see some black dudes up on the second floor of the building across from mine, blowin a fat ass blunt. I headed over there and started sayin whatsup, these dudes are pretty cool and we finish that blunt and smoke another one. After that they took me around the apartments and introduced me to so many cats I didn't know who the fuck was who. Basically I found out 75% of the population around here is blacks and latinos..not to mention mad druggies. Got myself fronted some for the hustle, workin on that as it is. By the end of the day the way I talked had just been morphed, usin urban slang and shit, the crowd I hang with is totally changed, (basically as a way of moving past old..habits) it's chill as fuck. I'm sure y'alls don't care but I just thought I'd give you a reason if all of a sudden I start actin a shitload more whigger in the days to come. Lotsa people would say I'm pullin some mad poser shit, I know, but it's not like I was a pussy or some shit before today, just gettin real deep into the hip-hop scene makes me feel like a new person and helps me get past the memories of yayo and all that..whatever.

But otherwise, Welcome to the "hood" homie. I got to say i love living in the hood. You can do so much shit you cant do in a normal suburb. Walk the streets smoking and drinkin underage. Sellin all over the streets. Fuck sidewalks in the hood, We jus walk in the streets and fuck the cars. In cars, Theres no such things as redlight or stop signs. Nobody judges or gives a fuck, Everbody down for the hustle and to get fucked up. Gotta love the shit.

Yeah it is definitely a much better environment than I used to be in, I know I was pullin some race card shit but dunno, the metaphor works I guess as long as nobody gets too offended. It is definitely different than my old place, round here me and my peeps just roll one up and stroll on down the road, smokin a gar and pick up the mornin paper (by which I mean rollin paper, not newspaper). And everyone shares their drugs, we all throw in on different blunts all the time, pass off drinks out the fridge and shit, it's fuckin awesome. I love this apt. complex.

I had some of my best times in a ghetto apartment complex. Lived in on for 11 years. Called "Tha Villa." All hoods and gangbangers and shit. Lotta murder and drugs. But i loved it. I was a young teen partying with people my age all the way up to dudes in they're mid 50's and shit. All drinkin, Smokin, Poppin pills, Snortin cane and shit. Mad fun. But mad trouble too.

I know what you mean. The joys of free apartments. I lived like that for a while. Wake up, smoke some of the weed I have, go to this guys flat (already 6-7 people there), smoke some more weed (like you said everyone's sharing), buy more weed, go play roulette, go to another guys apartment (again the same thing), go to the basketball court, smoke a shitload of weed and finally go home. Tomorrow, again the same thing. It gets old after a while, you'll see. It's better to do something with your life.
