Fishing/Tokin' Trip

Me my cousin and his friend are going on a big fishing trip up in the BWCA this weekend. We'll be fishing for bass, walleye, northern, and few others but were also bringing a shit load of weed. A few hundred bucks worth I think. It should be fun. Only thing is that my cousin and his friend will be getting stoned even while we're canoeing. Think this will be a big problem. I'm not real experienced with the effects of marijuana (I can count the number of times I've smoked it on 1 hand). Its not like we'll be going down any really fast rivers but still it is a slight concern when my cousin is almost 250lbs, his friend is over 300lbs, I'm 160lbs, and we have a shit load of gear too (don't worry though the canoe can hold over 1200lbs. Does weed really affect your judgement that much...

You know, i really cant follow your post now because i am drunk, but i think your asking if weed impares your judgment. to this i say:

if your friend is a stoner, then he has smoke quite a bit before your camping trp. now with this said, i think that a person who has smoked for the first time should not opperate a vehicle. but a veteran smoker (like myself) could drive anything from a car to a bus whilst under the influence. SO i guess what im trying to get to is that if your friend is an avid smoker, then you shouldnt have nothing to worry about because i have found that weed makes me concentrate better than when i am sober.

i really cant remember what this fucking topic was about but i have just been typing like a mofo, damn Colt 45s. This is my first week since i completed my freshmen year in college so i have had alot of free time on my hands. wait, i dont know where i was going with that. fuck it, here is too all my WG Friends (just picture me taking a hit from the bong and swollowing tyhe rest of my last Colt 45.)

Sounds like you're having a good time, Big Daddy.

Canoeing can be dangerous so I think you are right to be concerned. I don't think it's the same as driving; it takes skill. If your friend is not accustomed to operating a canoe while baked, don't risk it.

Feel free to get as blazed whenever and wherever you please especially on a fishing trip there is nothing better. Recentlly I went out and got tore while fishing and came home with a nine pound two ounce walleye!

Weed can affect your judgement, but the longer you smoke the less affected it will become so just relax and enjoy the ride

life jackets would be a must, especially if its the first couple of times that your gonna be in the middle of a lake or wherever your fishing, while stoned.

no man it's cool i went on a canoe trip with 2 frends and we just smoked constantly, if you're canoeing on calm water's you'll be fine.[/list]

Yeah my cousin and his friend are complete stoners. They smoke like 3 joints a day minimum. My cousin and his friends even snuck into our principles office a week before school started and got stoned out of their minds. Then they threw their left over joints (roaches) in one of the house plants in his office. LOL
