I hate to be a party pooper, but petition's are worthless. Their only purpose is toilet paper for whoever it's adressed to.

Violence might not convince them, but fear might. An army ready to wreak havoc will make a better argument than one guy handing over a few pieces of paper.

Politicians couldn't care less about a bunch of poor people, because they now full well that poor people don't have the means or the knowledge to stand up against them. How do you think most Soviet states were "liberated"? The people came out on the street and triggered a revolution.

You don't even have to actually fight them, just make them know you're not fucking around and you're not taking no for an answer.

I hear what your saying, But for one, You seem like saying jus go start a huge riot and it'll change poverty, Me an i think you both know thats not true. They'll put people in jail and that'll be the end of it.

Other thing, Poor people do not have the means to change anything, True. Knowledge, I wouldnt go there.

To change we need to get in they're faces and know were not fucking around no more yes. Go cause nonsense violence no.

With knowledge I mean insight in law and politics.

And starting a huge riot isn't the idea, the idea is to make them think you're willing to start a huge riot unless they get off their asses and do something.

I'm sorry and I know I'm gonna get bashed for this post but I have a very strong belief on poverty...

There are so many Americans that live below the poverty line, yet do absolutely nothing to make themselves better and get above that line. People living on welfare, food stamps, etc. I worked with a woman this past summer who spent her welfare check on beer and partying. Now, I know this is just one case, but it's definitely not the only one. I feel that most of the people in the US that are considered "poor" are their because of their own decisions, so why put down my hard earned money to help someone who had a chance and blew it?

I know, you might think it's wrong for me to feel that way, but nothing anyone says will change my opinion about it, my family was near the poverty line at one point, but through hard work my father was able to get us out of it...so if he can do it, anyone can do it with hardwork...

I agree, my family came here without a penny and now they are fairly well off.

I just think your tipping the scales to much when you say 'most.' Im not sure what the percentage is but I also see ton of women who are unmarried and keep having babies then claim welfare on every baby. It especially bothers when these people are natural born Americans.
