For those who know their rights well, I need your help bad!

Ill try and explain EVERY detail so you guys can give me your opinions on what I should do. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I got arrested about 4 weeks ago this friday from making a buy from an old dealer. I dont know if it was under surveilance or it was a set up. As careful as I always am I always keep my stash croched when im traveling with illegal substances just for safety. I left the house walking back to my house and a cop turns the corner and speeds up to me and pulls over right in front of me so I stop. The cop gets out the car and says "We know you have dope on you, where is it?". I responded saying I dont have dope. They told me they knew I made a buy from the house I went to. They asked who I went to see at the house. I lied to the cops making up a name because I would never nark out anyone. I told them I just went to see what he was up to but he was busy. The cops told me I was lying because they already knew his name. I told them I was going to make a buy from him but decided not to because I needed the cash for something else that I had remembered. The cops then asked if they could search me and I told them they could because I had it stashed in my croch. They searched me and patted me on the croch once and said there was something there. I denied and said that was just my underwear so they kept searching and they patted me one more time there and then said they still think there is something there. I refused again and the cops searched my wallet and other items and asked where was the money I was going to spend on the dope. I did not have it because I had spent it on the dope but I told the cops that my dad was loaning me the money and I just went to tell the dealer I didnt want the stuff anymore because I needed the money for something else. The cops laughed and said well we are going to strip search you at the station so they handcuffed me and put me in the car. Another cop arrived at the site and told me if I didnt tell them I had dope on me and they found it while strip searching me then it would be a felony charge. I did not want to take the risk so I told them I had dope in my croch. They took me to the station and took one of my hands off of the cuffs and told me to get the dope out. Luckily enough I just pulled out the weed and not the 5 ritalin pills I had in another baggie croched as well. They never searched me again after that so I was relieved I didnt get charged with the pills as well. Anyways, the cop told me I could leave right now and go to work on time if I could give them two names to nark out. Like I said before I would never nark but I did not want to loose my job so I made up 2 fake names at school and the officers told me to meet them at school the next school day which was Monday to basically set them up. I agreed and they let me go without booking me with the fingerprints etc. The thing I am curious about is they never gave me any ticket for the initial court date or anything they just let me go. So I took the day off at work monday just incase anything would happen after I refused to nark. So I went to school and met up with the cops and told them I would not cooperate. They got real pissed and said they went real nice with me when I got arrested and now I screwed them over. I didnt care. They also said because my dad had made a complaint to the police they had the right to let them know what happened to me. Now the catchy part is I am not a minor. I am 18 and living away from home. So the next thing I know is my dad is bitching at me that night that I got arrested and I thought there was some privacy rules to this. I had also spoke with an attourney with my dad and I had asked my dad the key question. Did you call the cops and complain about my marijuana use during school or did you call the school and the school called the cops and complained. The answer my dad said was he told the school and the school made the complaint. So its been almost 4 weeks now and I dont have any information on what to do next. no court date or anything. What should I do? Can I get my charge reduced because the police may have broken the privacy act? What do I do next in this situation? dude..if you told ppl which country ur from..folk from that place would be able to help you out better i think....laws r different everywhere..

1. They searched you without a warrant and without any proof that you may have been carrying a weapon.

2. You assumed that they were telling the truth when they told you that they already knew the names of the dealers and witnessed your transaction. (you should have asked them the names of the dealers)

3. The school cannot prove that you have been using dope unless they have some sort of physical evidence of your illegal actions.

4. Your dad can eat shizzle because for all anyboy knows he could be lying about you.


And for all you know you never did anything wrong (unless someone has evidence of what you have been doing, then you are temporarily screwed until you can afford a tricky lawyer.)

yeah the cops that searched you had no probable cause unless your dealer had a camera/wire or something or if hes just a known drug dealer (cops still can't search you though, only after you did something illegal).
i wouldn't suggest going to that dealer again .
also, if there have been no trial dates etc for 4 weeks you don't have anything to worry about.
