Ok let's say that you're at a party on top of a mountain-type-place overlooking the town and the cops come. You aren't holding any beer but you have some weed in you're pocket. Can the cops legally search you just because you were at a party and are guilty by association? Since when is it illegal to be on top of a mountain that just so happens underage kids are drinking at.

I'm just wondering cuz I think it's good to know you're rights and shit and what the police can and cannot do. I know that if you are in the same room as the people that are drinking underage you can be searched, but what about outside?

nah dude as long as you dont give off that you are intoxicated or high. Ask them what there reasoning is and if they cant come up with any reasonable suspicion and they still wanna search tell them to go get a fucking warrant. 80 percent of the time the cops wont bother cause its too much paperwork and time for them to take care of things.

in canada i dont think they're legally allowed to, but they still do. they are much stronger and more armed then you are so theres not much you can do. my frend was with his bro and the cops came and they were burnin a j so they tossed it and his bro put the weed in his crotch and started walking away but the cops came and shoved their hands down his pants andpulled out the weed, didnt bust him for anything tho, just took it.

really? thats a great show. my frend came up with a massive scheme why it worked too. cos like when cops make a big drug bust or just bust someone for possesion (of any drug) sometimes they either say the person had less than they had or they let it go unnoticed, they then take some of the drug in question and sell it. it wasnt a half bad theory, but still, if a cop offered u drugs you'd say no, and ud never walk up to one and ask for drugs.

edit: a few months ago there was like a secret inside investigation on the toronto narcotics team and they caught a bunch of people, it fit into his explanation perfectly

if u arent acting drunk or high u can deny the search.. if they search u anyway and ur smart and u ginched ur shit so they dotn find anything take their bad number and ask em for their name... file a complaint. sue em, do something who gives a fuck. ive denied searches before.. ive also been searched with shit on me and not had it found too.. meh.
