I got something better, I just plug my discman into a socket and the batteries reharge without having to be taken out and placed in a recharger.
My discman owns your iPods and mp3 players!
INGENIOUS!
A friend of mine has an MP3 Player that has the same sort of thing, but when he plugs in the Player to a P.C, the batteries charge, and it has an inner battery "emergency" source as its called.. Pretty smart stuff.
Just when your not around a computer.. Thats when your buggered...

I do the same with my minidisc player, and the batteries last like 4 days or something.
Death is the only certainty. EVERYTHING else is variable.
I use batteries a lot. I still can't figure out why they don't make my favorite appliances as plug-in units. It's not really like I need the damn thing to be portable, and as soon as it sucks the juice out of a battery it just isn't fun anymore.... ... consequently I have a shitload of half-used batteries.... had the same one in my MP3 player for about 3 months now
When I first got my phone, the battery wouldn't last 5 hours, when I knew it should have lasted a few days! It turned out that the light was on full power. Once I switched it to screen-saver mode, it stayed charged.
my phone battery last about 26-27 hours...its never off, so i guess thats why.....damn nokia 8250s.......
what phones do you guys have? i used to have the bigass phone from the Matrix (nokia 7210) before the front panel fell off and broke and my dog chewed the rest of it...

thank you....*takes a bow* i had that same fone ....u can kill someone with that thing..didnt like it too much..the stubby antenna it has kept interfering with my genitalia when it was in my pocket
I have two, one for personal use, and the dealerphone.
My dealerphone is a 5 year old Nokia 3310, for which I need a new battery because it ALWAYS dies 1 minute into a call, even when it's fully charged. Which fucking sucks when you're setting up a meeting and all of a sudden you lose the guy. And I hate using my personal phone for weed related things.
My normal phone is a Siemens CF62T. Awesome little thing.

Siemens mc60 with cam in it , fun for taking quick snapshots at seshes or parties, doesnt have flash so most of the time the pics are a brown blurrs with some light dots in 'em (cherries)
other than that it's a great thing, the battery works about a week and then i have to recharge it
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.
