Anxiety Disorder

I have been diagnosed with Anxiety disorder. One of my friends used to smoke pot 24/7 for about a year, and before that not so much, but since he was 13 or something, and he has been diagnosed with it as well. i was wondering if anyone knew if weed increased the chance of getting anxiety.. cos thats what i heard

thats a crock of shit, if anything it would just be a coincidence that you both get it and that you both smoke. dont worry about it, it is things like worrying about shit like that, that gives ya anxiety. peace

I think an anxiety disorder is sort of something one brings on their self. It's a psychological thing. Just stay cool about it and u won't be anxious

so what is this disorder doing too you. have you noticed anything different about yourself. IMO telling people they have the disorder aint go to help them loosen up either

uh first of all could someone tell me what IMO means
and anxiety disorder doesnt just mean you worry about everything. theres several different kinds. obsessive-compulsive disorder, general anxiety disorder (GAD), social phobia, panic attack disorder are all kinds of anx disord, and those arent all of them either. I have a bit of obsess-compuls, social phobia and panic attack. Its really quite lame, i dont have it seriously but its hard to control. part of it is also hyper-sensitivity to negative comments and stuff, and i have that but only sometimes. its so weird, people can say the shittiest things to me and i wont care a bit, but then someone says something that may not even be directed at me and i freak out (not so anyone notices, its an internal thing..).

uher yeah. and panic attacks.. well its hard to explain. umm go here http://www.nimh.nih.gov/anxiety/anxiety.cfm
and scroll about a bit.. should give you an idea

by the way, with things like obsess-compuls disorder, its more like you just cant help doing those things. like for example, higher, with your counting telephone poles, you wouldnt NOT be able to count them. make sense? like when i was younger, 6, 7 maybe, i couldnt walk without counting my steps. i seriously could not do it
