i have xp. do i definately need service pack 1+2?

yeah, go for it. im not sure weather you need sp1 to get sp2 but i'd go for them both. you gte increased security glitches are fixed i think

i got sp1, will get sp2 when i can woprk out how to get soulseek working,notsure whther it now orking cos of zone alarm pro settings or agv virus protection!

If you have a pirated copy of windows, NO. service pack 1 repairs the No-activation crack if youve already used one. Otherwise you probably should install them, Im pretty sure its the only way to get your PC protected from some really old worm... cant remember what it was but some fat kid with a mohawk edited it. I have no clue how i remember this type of shit.

red worm you on about luke ? that shit was a pain in the ass to get rid of, you only need activation craks if your running a OEM version of xp, so you cant install on 3 differnt pcs in your house hold.
