anyone ever listened to new monkey? i know alot of people on this forum hate rave, but i think it's the best shit to listen to when your stoned, the beats going on in the back with the fast emceeing on top of it

The New Monkey is only about half an hour away from me (in Mackam Land). Anyway all my mates love this music, well most of them. For me fast music normally annoys me when im stoned. But, hey its a matter of opinion.
I have had the unfortuanate experience of listening to The New Monkey and all those who want to share the experience can find it on KaZaA.

ya slow music is the best stoned....makes everything feel like it flwos together better

No way, fast stuff can be just as cool. I listen to some really slow ambient stuff (about 60bpm -even the slowest hip hop is about 75/80) and that is mad but then stuff like Tool is about 120 odd and drum & bass is 170/180 and that is all mad stuff when your toasted. Then Acid House and stuff is equally mental and Psy Trance is trippy as fuck when your lit.
What is rave specifically tho? Do you mean hardcore like prodigy, Praga Khan etc? Injected with a Poison!

Love that record. And a nice bit of Altern8 or the fuckin daddies, the ORB go down a right treat when cooked.

Yes, rave is not a type of music tho is it. Rave is something you go to to hear music but they play different types of music at raves.
